How to Disassemble a Glock 19 Gen 6 Frame

1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and remove the magazine.
2. Separate the slide assembly from the frame and store it separately.
3. Depress the trigger and pull the trigger mechanism housing pin.
4. Remove the trigger mechanism housing from the frame.
5. Drift out the remaining frame pins to access the slide lock lever and magazine catch.

You’ve now broken the frame down for cleaning, inspection, or component replacement.

How to Install a Glock Frame

1. Insert the trigger mechanism housing into the frame and seat it fully.
2. Drive the frame pins back into place to secure the internals.
